About

Woodfield Mall is located in Schaumburg, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, near the intersection of Golf Road and Interstate 290. It is the largest shopping mall in Illinois, followed by Oakbrook Center, and ranks among the largest malls in the United States. The center features major retailers including JCPenney, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Primark.

Situated about 27 miles from the Chicago Loop, Woodfield Mall draws more than 27 million visitors annually.

The mall was originally developed by Taubman Centers, which later sold ownership to CalPERS, Miller Capital Advisory, and GM Pension Trusts. Taubman continued to manage the property until GM Pension Trusts sold its share to Simon Property Group, which assumed management on January 1, 2013.
