Shops At Riverside

The Shops at Riverside is a two-story enclosed shopping mall located in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey, just off Route 4 and alongside the Hackensack River. The mall features 658,261 square feet of gross leasable area. Originally opened on March 10, 1977, the “lavishly appointed” center launched with 620,000 square feet of retail space, including a 237,000-square-foot Bloomingdale’s, expanded from its original standalone location opened in 1959, and a 107,000-square-foot Saks Fifth Avenue. The mall was known as Riverside Square Mall until 2005.

The Shops at Riverside serves shoppers from Hackensack and surrounding suburban areas in Bergen, Essex, and Passaic counties in New Jersey, as well as Rockland County in New York. It features 66 stores, with anchor tenants including Bloomingdale's, Barnes & Noble, Pottery Barn, AMC Theatres, and Arhaus.
